• CURIOUS ABOUT KAMBO?

Kambo is an ancestral medicine used by some of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon: the Mayoruna, Matses, Marubo, Amahuaca, Kashinawa, Katukina, Yawanawá, and the Kaxinawá.

    .

Kambo is the secretion of an arboreal frog called the Phyllomedusa Bicolor which is found numerously throughout a large swath of the Amazonian Rainforest Basin.

    .

Traditionally it’s used for an array of benefits. It’s regarded as a hunting medicine: to imbue fortitude, vitality, and a connectivity to the natural world. Also it is used as a treatment to dispel what is called panema (negative dense energy manifesting as bad luck or depresson).

    .

Kambo is abundant in bio-active peptides and neuropeptides (analog molecules similar in form and function to naturally occurring peptides in the human body). Peptides are signaling molecules, with a very short half-life, which stimulate all manner of biological processes in the body at a cellular level.

    .

Kambo can be thought of as a peptide supplement: by supplementing certain peptides, various biological processes are encouraged into a higher level of functioning, or sometimes, when we are imbalanced, simply into what is their natural level of functionality. Either way, most people experience this as deeply positive and transformative.

    .

The body ultimately knows how to detoxify, heal, and regenerate itself; it has systems beautifully designed to do just that. In a modern world full of toxins, chemicals, and frequencies that can disrupt and disregulate our bodies and minds, Kambo can be a powerful and benevolent companion, aiding our body to come back into harmony and equilibrium. Helping us to experience our optimal Selves.
